BMI is proud to announce that beginning March 17, they will be handling all production operations for The Bakersfield Californian.

BMI specializes in "Right-Sourcing" for the newspaper industry, and has been working with The Bakersfield Californian in Packaging and Distribution since February of 2004. "Right-Sourcing" is a term that the President of BMI, Brad Moseley, coined and has since been widely used in the industry today: "Many newspapers, due to increases in costs, are outsourcing some of their production overseas. What we do at BMI is "Right-Sourcing"...we're on site, using our expertise along with the newspaper's facilities and equipment, keeping jobs here in the community."

BMI's management team has over 100 years of cumulative newspaper production experience. Their mission is to provide the readership and advertisers of The Bakersfield Californian not only the highest quality newspaper in a timely manner, but also to extend exceptional career opportunities to employees.
